Which Harry Potter house are you ?

I am from Gryffindor!

Which Harry Potter house are you?

Everyone knows about the four houses of Hogwarts.

Harry Potter is one of the most popular book series of the past century. It is not possible that no one knows about the Hogwarts Houses, still, let us do a refresher, just in case.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the main backdrop of the story, the place where our beloved Harry's story unfurls and reaches its end. Hogwarts is said to be more than 1000 years old, a beautiful castle built by wizards Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Helga Hufflepuff. The four houses take after their surnames and split students into four groups on the basis of distinct qualities.

This splitting of students into 'houses' is done by Godric Gryffindor's hat  – the Sorting Hat.

Each house has its own entry requirements that are mentioned by the Sorting Hat in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone.

Have a look and do not forget to name the 'house' you think you belong to. Cheers!!

Gryffindor

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley - all the main characters belong to Gryffindor.

‘You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart.’
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Hufflepuff

Cedric Diggory - one of the supporting characters in The Goblet of Fire - was from Hufflepuff.

‘You might belong in Hufflepuff
Where they are just and loyal
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil.’
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Ravenclaw

Luna Lovegood, who first appears in The Goblet of Fire, is from Ravenclaw.

‘Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw
If you’ve a ready mind
Where those of wit and learning
Will always find their kind.’
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Slytherin

Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy, and Lord Voldemort - all were from Slytherin.

‘Or perhaps in Slytherin
You’ll make your real friends
Those cunning folk use any means
To achieve their ends.’
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
